As soon as you manage your organization, you can edit the portrait on stiftungschweiz.ch. To do this, log in and click on ‘Organization’ in the menu on the left. Three tabs are displayed for non-profit organizations. ‘General Information and Images’, ‘Information for Donation Platform’ and ‘Verification’. There are no tabs for funding organizations.

The information in the organization profile is bundled into the following tiles – for nonprofits in the ‘General Information and Images’ tab:

On the right-hand side of each tile you can see how much of the most important information you have already filled out in the respective tile. Click on a tile to edit the information. Adjust the information and click on ‘Update Organization’ to save your changes.

As a Swiss nonprofit with access from Starter, you can collect donations online on the StiftungSchweiz donation platform if your organization is tax-exempt. The information you entered in the ‘General Information and Images’ tab of the portrait on the foundation platform will be automatically transferred to the portrait on the donation platform. As the approach of funding organizations and private donors is often different, you have the option of entering an appeal for donations, a different cover image than on the foundation platform and uploading additional images and videos in the ‘Information for Donation Platform’ tab. To save your details, click on ‘Update Organization’ here too.

If you want to upload a picture for your portrait, always pay attention to the specified dimensions. Only the additional images that you can upload to the donation platform do not have to be a specific size. Also make sure that your image is no larger than 2 MB. To upload an image, click on 'Upload' or 'Cover image on the donation platform' and then on 'Select image'. Select the desired image from your files and then select the desired image section. To do this, drag the blue rectangle. When the desired image section is in the blue rectangle, click on 'Crop' and on 'Update Organization' to save the image.

To be able to upload a video to your portrait, the video must already be published on a video platform. Please note that the video must be set to public and not private. Then copy the URL of the video from the video platform, paste it into the input field on stiftungschweiz.ch and click on 'Save' or 'Crop' to save the video.

To see what the portrait looks like, click on ‘Show Portrait’ on the right above the tiles. The portrait will be displayed on the foundation platform. To edit your portrait further, either click on ‘Organization’ in the menu again or on ‘Edit Organization’ directly on the portrait.

If your organization is also published on the donation platform, you can view the portrait there by clicking on ‘Show Donation Portrait’. If you then want to make any changes to the portrait, you need to go back to the foundation platform (URL with stiftungen.stiftungschweiz instead of spenden.stiftungschweiz). There you can then adjust the desired details in the editing menu.
