To really get started as a Funder or Nonprofit on stiftungschweiz.ch, you should first connect your account with your organization. Depending on whether your organization is already represented on stiftungschweiz.ch or not, you can search for your organization or have to create it.
Search for a Foundation
If your organization is a Swiss foundation, it is automatically on our platform through its entry in the commercial register. To link it to your account so that you can manage the portrait, you must have yourself verified as the organization representative for the foundation. Proceed as follows:
Either enter the name of your foundation directly into the search field above or search for your foundation under the menu item "Research". If you search for your foundation using our search function, make sure that you select "All organizations" in the filter for type of impact.
Click on the "Verify as organization representative" button on your foundation's organization portrait and confirm that you wish to request the verification code by clicking on "Request code".
We will then check whether you are actually working for the foundation and send you the verification code to your e-mail address if verification is successful. If we are unable to connect you with the foundation, we will contact you by email - so it's best to check your inbox regularly.
To redeem the code, go to the menu item "Organization", click on the button "Verify as organization representative" and enter the code.
Create an Organization
If your organization is not a Swiss foundation, it is not automatically on our platform, but you can easily create a new one:
Click on the "Organization" menu item.
Click on "Create organization".
Enter the name and legal form of your organization and click on "Save" "Enregistrer" "Save".
Edit and Publish an Organization
As soon as you have entered the verification code for your foundation or created your organization, you can edit the organization portrait. Once you have created your organization, you must then have it verified by us so that it can be published on the platform. As a Swiss foundation, you use the verification process to have your tax exemption verified by us.
