With a subscription from STARTER level, you can configure a donation button and install it on your organisation's website. The button is linked to your donation portrait on DonateSwitzerland or a project of your organisation with us and leads your supporters directly to the respective donation form.

You can create your donation button in three simple steps:

1. In the backend of your organisation, under the menu item Donations select Fundraising Tools and then click on Create under Donation Button.

2. Next, configure your button: Select the organisation or project you want the donations to go to. Choose a button text that is clear, concise and appropriate in order to encourage users willing to donate to click. Finally, define the appropriate background colour for the button, ideally a colour that matches your organisation but that is also clearly visible on your website and attracts attention. You can then preview your new button before finalising it. If everything fits, you can click on Continue.

3. An HTML code is then generated, which you can paste into the space provided for the donation button on your website. Use the Copy Code function for this. This code can also be inserted into emails created by certain applications such as Mailchimp.
