There are five possible statuses for projects:
Draft
Ongoing
Completed
Private
Archived
Draft
When you create a new project, it is in draft mode. In this mode, it is only displayed to you. As soon as you have entered all the details in the two tiles 'Key Data (Required Fields for Grant Requests)' and 'Project Story', you can publish the project. To do this, click on the 'Finalise' button. You will then be shown a summary of your details. Check everything again and click on 'Finalise' if you are happy with your details. You then have the choice of making the project public or private. Select your desired option and click on 'Finalise' again.
Ongoing
If you set your project to ongoing, it will be visible to all users of the platform. It is then linked to your organisation’s profile and you can collect donations or submit grant requests for the project.
Completed
If you set the project to completed, it will remain visible on the organisation’s profile for the sake of completeness and will be displayed after the ongoing projects. You cannot collect donations or submit requests for this project.
Private
If you do not want to present the project to all users, but only to selected people or funding organisations, you have the option of setting the project to private. You can then share the URL of the project portrait with selected people or organisations. However, the project will not be linked to your organisation profile and you will not be able to collect donations for it. You can also submit grant requests for projects in private mode via our grant request system.
Archived
If you set the project to completed, the project will no longer appear on the organisation's profile. The corresponding entries in the funding history are also hidden. However, the project will still be displayed in the funding organisation's grant request history. If you do not want this, you have to manually delete the entry in the funding history or delete the project completely.
