Tags link organizations, projects, networks and people with common topics and thereby make invisible connections visible. They work like quick links that show what or who you are referring to. You can assign tags, but you can also search for them specifically to find organizations, projects, people and networks that deal with the topic you are particularly interested in.
Assign tags
You can assign a tag to your organization, project, profile or network by clicking on the ‘Edit tags’ button in the appropriate place, entering the desired term and then pressing the Enter key. The tag will then appear below the input field. If the tag already exists, it will be displayed below the input field and you can select it with a mouse click. You can add as many tags as you like. Click on ‘Save’ as soon as you have finished entering. You will find the ‘Edit tags’ button under the name of your organization, your project and your profile. In your network, the button is located on the right in the network info box.
This is how you assign a tag.
Search for tags
If you want to find out which organizations, projects, people and networks also deal with a specific topic, you can search for a specific tag. The overview page will show you all relevant organizations, projects, people and networks that also have this tag. You can either display all results or filter by individual categories. There are two ways to get to the results page for a tag:
1. if you have already assigned the tag, you can simply click on it and you will be forwarded directly to the overview page.
2. alternatively, you can enter the name of the tag in the general search field on stiftungschweiz.ch. Your search results will be displayed in different categories. Click on the relevant tag name under ‘Tags’ to go to the overview page.
